I just watched the clip to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels on Bway.com and Norbert said something that has me quite confused. Did he say something about him and John being...lovers? Was he just joking around...I feel so stupid lol

But anyway, being married with children isn't a guarantee against having a same-sex lover. There's something called the downlow...

I'm almost positive that Norbert is either separated or divorced. On his Broadway.com profile, his only family listed are his two daughter, Clara and Maggie. No wife or girlfriend mentioned.

I know there was something about a possible split a couple of months back, but it's been kept pretty private.

Evelyn, there's something called the down-low, but if that's what he was keeping anything on, he probably wouldn't hint at something like it on a video that people are going to see. That's rather the opposite...

Norbert and his wife are divorced or on there way to finalizing it... atleast that is what I heard from some "wicked" sources. Also if you paid attention back when he was in Wicked you might of noticed he tended to arrive and leave with one certain person

Check out Bway.com for a picture of him someone at his last show. It isn't Idina or Kristin but there is a picture of him and another "someone special" that should answer your question. It was pretty hush hush back in the day when he was still in Wicked and I don't know if it is so much now but if you are a Wicked fan and ever stage doored you could usually tell who he was with...

Totally. I'm just avoiding the trap of assuming that because someone is/was married, they're heterosexual. I mean... I love flirting with men AND women. :) Having a baby naturally and later getting into a same-sex relationship? Not out of the question for me. Somehow I think that Broadway personalities also tend to be a bit more sexually liberated than photographs would indicate.

Me too. And that crush has only grown with the changes (hehehehehe) in his appearance over the last two years. Bisexual or not, one can always hope that he's open to a drunken fling.

Of course not. Being married, having children, etc... doesn't by any means indicate that someone isn't allowed to be swinging for the other side as well. And, just because someone is labeled one thing doesn't keep them from loving a person that would label them the opposite. I think it's also the fact of the "sexual liberation" in the Broadway community that causes so much speculation. People sort of assume that it comes with the territory.

Go to gettyimages.com Editorial and search for Norbert Leo Butz. You'll find larger pictures there. Gettyimages is a godsend anyway. They take the most voyeuristic photos. There is even a shocking one involving Matthew Perry playing tennis...
