Norbert at Martin Short

Norbert Leo Butz was Martin Short's guest today at the matinee (not listed on the site). First time I had seen the show with a celebrity and it is A LOT funnier than regular people. Very funny they went on about having 3 names and such. Michelle Federer was in the audience. They also did a nice bit about having a Tony Award. According to the cast the CD is expected around Feb.
On Topic Edit: Norbert was there in work boots, jeans and a oversized sweatshirt so Short made a comment about how you can always trust a true professional to dress right when going to the theatre. He then got into his "if this is how you dress for the theatre what do you wear bowling?" bit. Later Short spit donut onto Norbert and Norbert commented "Im glad I wore my bowling clothes".

F*CK by itself is censored while F*CK! with punctuation attached is not censored.
ETA: Oh SH*T! They both work!
EATA: *gasp*

"So does this mean that Norbert is done filing the Steve Carrell movie?"
He may or may not be done because the movie was filming in Long Island.

I am curious also. I am seeing the show December 24. Had I known about the calendar on the website, I would have gone on the 22nd and seen Bernadette Peters! Noone is listed on the 24th though.

Posted: 12/21/06 at 1:09pmRegular people guests can be funnier if they are willing to talk and answer the questions or a lot more boring if they give him one word answers. First time I saw the show with an engineer from Jersey being interviewed, he was hysterical because he danced with the cast and him and glick when on a whole rant making fun of Short. Other regular people are plain boring. Norbert, the 1st celebrity I've seen was a lot funnier than a regular person.
