da butz? Did you really type that? Lord.
Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I did indeed use the phrase "da butz." A term coined long before his Tony Award, or even his first Tony nomination.

Isn't that his real last name?

And going back to The Adam or The Pascal or whatever it was from last night's posts.
1. Ted Allen: Everyone has an interesting life if you ask the right questions.
2. Great buckets of Spoffnor, they're going to sing!

5. "The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - which you had thought special and particular to you. And now, here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out, and taken yours." -The History Boys
6. "Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on." -The History Boys

"Butz" is his real last name. "da butz" is the very ghetto-superstar (as ghetto-superstar as theater people get) nickname coined when he was nothing but a little swing in Rent with all the potential in the world.

Well I'll just stick with calling him Norbert.

Hmm, I know a friend who's going to the matinee tomorrow. If anyone is going or knows anyone who is, could maybe someone ask about Norbie at the stage door, if he was sick, and the possibility he'll be in tomorrow? Thanks.
I'm curious about the understudy too, I think it may be Joe Cassidy, who I saw at softball yesterday who with sunglasses kinda resembled Norbie. I think he hit an in the park homer.

Believe, me. Not at all happy here. I'm getting to attend that event this year and was looking forward to him. I also have tickets Sunday for Scoundrels and will be very disappointed if he's still out......

I find it really amusing that this year's Broadway Under the Stars lineup is all male.

Too bad, I was looking forward to his performance being shown on channel 2 in NY. Raul's performance last year was great.
