Posted: 8/6/04 at 12:17pmWhat theatre performances have you missed that you "theoretically" could have seen (meaning, you could have caught it, bur for whatever reason, weren't able to)? And that you're kicking yourself for having missed it, because the production closed or the performer has left the production? Updated On: 8/6/04 at 12:17 PM

Well, when I recently went to NYC with my family, there was a slim chance we were going to see either Phantom, Beauty and the Beast, LSOH or 42nd Street. Well, it never happened because my parents didn't want to spend the money, didn't want to go to an evening show, plus we wanted to eat dinner, and we didn't get back from Ellis Island into Times Square until 7pm, which wouldn't have given us enough time for a show if we wanted to eat at Planet Hollywood.
I also wanted to see Gypsy with Bernadette Peters...grr...

I'm STILL kicking myself for not seeing "Once On This Island".
It was a toss-up between "Big River" for a 2nd time & OOTI. My family hadn't seen Big River, so I was outvoted. Such sadness...
