Next year's new musical from the Ambassadors Theatre Group and Shattered Nerve -'Houdini The Musical- has been scrapped over pay!
Maybe that should read 'lack of pay'
The producers announced that the show would be rehearsed at the Regent Theatre, Stoke with the company not being paid for the rehearsal period or the opening week in Stoke!!! They said that if and when the show made money on the rest of the tour then the company would receive full pay!
Equity stepped and said that this was not going to happen so the show has now been pulled indefinitely.
