Here's an obscure one for you:
"Let's F**k" from "A Class Act" by Edward Kleban

The whole score from Prettybelle is an obscure gem filled with offensive numbers. Some of them are actually good.

Posted: 1/22/07 at 11:17amYou got it. I mean, if you want to do something flat out, burn down the barn offensive, do a concert version of PRETTYBELLE with a narrator giving the audience the story as the show progresses from song to song. I guarantee you'll have a SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER moment.

"Have a Nice Day" cut from LA CAGE
With lyrics like: "If it weren't for the dykes and jews and the n*s and spics - we could all have a nice day!"
It was perfect for the character singing it!

Posted: 1/22/07 at 11:24amYou could do whole medleys on different themes... "The Sexuality Song", "Relegion Medley" etc
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness, the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever."

Posted: 1/22/07 at 11:26amMichael Bennett, I can't see Jerry Herman writing someting like that. Interesting.

Posted: 1/22/07 at 11:29amAnything from Jerry Springer the Opera - the piano selections are available from Dress Circle. 'I just wanna f**kin' dance' is a beautiful song...

Well, he wrote it for a racist character in the show - its not as if he wrote it for his lounge act.
The song, though cut from LA CAGE, did appear on Broadway in JERRY'S GIRLS. Dorothy Loudon, of course, tore it up and made it awfully hilarious.

CONTACT from RENT? SPRINGTIME FOR HITLER? SOMEBODY KILL ME from THE WEDDING SINGER? I'm drawing a bit of a blank right now, but if you ever follow me around work for a day, you'll hear me singing many inappropriate songs. The more I know I shouldn't be singing 'em, the more I can't get them out of my head. :3

If you'll consider something besides theater songs, check out Richard Cheese. He does Vegas Lounge Singer versions of contemporary rock and hip hop songs. His bossa nova version of "Baby Got Back" is not to be missed.

"You Ain't Hurtin' Your Old Lady None" from "Prettybelle"
"Dante', Petrach and Poe" from "Lolita, My Love" (I'm not exactly sure on the title of the song, but it's about famous men in literature who were in love with teenage girls.)
