Gawd, I hate out of town preview clips, and I hate Jerry lewis, but gotta admit that I kinda liked the choreo bit about 1/2 way thru, w/"jerry" in the red suit. Pretty nutty dance moves.

The choreo, which was the only bit of the clip that really impressed me, has been getting singled out in reviews (as well as the woman playing the secretary, who barely seems to be in the clips...)

Oh really? Interesting. I have not read a thing about this show, but hey, I'm a 60s girl to the core, so I might give it a chance. One never knows, DO one??

Eeek. Looks awfully bland... Judging off of this (which I shouldn't...) I don't know if I could handle 2+ hours of this.

Yeah, really the choreography is about all that made any kind of impression with me.

Tinymagic, I admit I only found that mention of praise in the LA Times article about it, which I found while looking up pieces about Hamlisch's death--and may not be the best source as one of the few reviews it quotes is from... here. LOL

All this time I thought this was going to be a reincarnation of Eddie Murphy's version. I haven't really payed this show any attention. I'm even less interested now. Those clips were pretty boring.

I want Sherman and Buddy Love.

Do they really need a cheerleader and gospel choir number.. It looks so uninspired
