If they want to go to Broadway, they have to start from scratch. Casey Nicholaw has really lost his touch... Why is Phil no longer a satyr (half-man, half-goat)? Why are Pain and Panic just ordinary people, and no longer important to the plot? Where is Pegasus? Why doesn't Hadse have flaming hair anymore? The set felt very plastic. It relied far too heavily on video screens. This is getting panned on Broadway.

The casting for the London version was so full of big (American) names. I'm so surprised the casting for Broadway couldn't find more big names. Or ask some of those artists back, even if it was just for 4 weeks...Aimee Lou Wood, Maude Apatow, Rebecca Lucy Taylor, Cara Delevingne, Jake Shears...

Here in the Netherlands we had 2 versions with only 10 actors. The 5 main guys, the 3 wifes, the music teacher and 1 guy playing the other guys. The last version even cut the kid!

For me this was the highlight of my London trip last week. I cried through half the second act.But it is very British, too British for American audiences.For this to work on Broadway they need to move the setting to America. And start off-broadway first.
