MMMMMMM I KNOW.

I have two of his solo CDs, plus the recordings of Anything Goes, Phantom of the Opera, and The Fix he was in - as well as the soundtrack for De-Lovely and a Cole Porter Gala celebration where he sang 'I Happen to Like New York.' It is de-sexy. I hear he is going to be in The Producers movie... all the more reason for me to see it the day it comes out!

Yes, gorgeous and talented - and I think, Taken. I think he has a partner of several years in London. the UK just set up a gay partner registry that goes into effect in Dec (or did it last Dec?).

There is an urban myth that during his brief stint in NYC in Sunset Blvd that during the party scene he took out his "member" (back to audience) and played the piano with it. Don't know if its true that's why I'm chalking it up to urban myth - but I also thought it was fun and the type of story that would get posted on this site. Enjoy :)

He was fantastic in "Putting it Together" a few years ago. After the show, he popped out from the stage door and strolled into the night in the middle of the street. Nobody else saw him but me. I shoulda chased him down!!!

His Cole Porter CD just oozes sexy. And it comes with the NT recording of 'Anything Goes' (or at least - mine did.) His Reflections from Broadway CD is worth the price just to hear him sing 'Sailing' from 'A New Brain' which is one of my favorite songs ever. Go for the Cole Porter one if you're a CP fan, if you just want some yummy John Barrowman singing a yummy variety of show tunes (some obscure, some well known) go for Reflections from Broadway. He has one of songs from Grease but I haven't bought that one yet...

Also, he's on the Putting it Together DVD which I would also highly recommend. Mmmmmmmm. I love him.

Seen John in quite a lot of things here on Stage, did you also see he featured in several episodes of the science fiction TV series "Dr Who" as a bisexual time traveller ??

A friend of mine was a dresser on a show John worked on and can confirm the rumour of his his large penis having seen it more times than he can mention !

By the way Gay marriage starts here in the UK in December, I might marry my man at some point in perhaps a couple of years you never know !

John is SUCH a great performer! Saw him in Anything Goes 3 times and NEVER fail to charm or disappoint me! Though his other 'Billy' role in Chicago was't SO gd, it was fine and he still have the charms and looks for the role!
I am SO glad to be able to see this amazing performer and hope to see him more in the Westend! And.... can only say how jealous I am to his partner! I remember awhile ago there was an interview of him about his partner in playbill.com, maybe some1 could post the URL?

I just did some quick digging... is this what you were thinking of?

It's a cute read... his name's Scott, apparently. I'm very jealous. And John was naked onstage??!!! How did I miss it?

He was also a wonderful Joe Gillis in Sunset Blvd. in London, such a sweet guy offstage too!

It was very amusing to watch Dr. Who with a friend of mine and realize, "Hey! I know that Captain Jack guy!" She has a big crush on him, too.

sorry to double post, but since we're on the subject of John Barrowman, is cast recording for The Fix worth it? I've only heard the sound One, Two, Three.

I've been a fan of his since I saw him at The Adelphi in SUNSET BLVD. John has indeed been with Scott for several years but they have an open relationship. John is also known for playing around at Jubilee Hall in Covent Garden among other places. While above average he is not what I would personally call "huge" and that is all I'm gonna say about that.

Yes, THE FIX is worth it.

THE FIX is definitely worth it... the songs aren't the best, but there are a few gems, and the cast is excellent.

You're not the only one who loves John Barrowman - there were a lot of squeals and screams when I had a Dr Who viewing party and we got to the final episode.

/is glad that JB will be back next series
//can't wait to hear his commentary on the DVD box set
///hopes the DVDs restore the cropped shot of JB's arse in ep 12

I thought he didn't know when he would be returning as Caprtain Jack yet? I think I lust him more and more every time I see him. Off to take a cold shower now!

OT: I read an interview where he said that he wouldn't be in the Xmas episode or the first couple of the new series but that he was definately coming back. This is good because Captain Jack is one of my all time favourite companions with Turlough and Ace.
