I'm 46 years of age and I recall the 1970's with a great degree of fondness. HOWever, while "The Brady Bunch" had a certain appeal, it was also too icky sweet. After the "Brady Bunch" went off the air, some "genius" developed the "Brady Bunch Variety Hour". This has been labeled the worst variety program in the history of television, by some. It ran from January 1977 -- May 1977, for a grand total of eight episodes (not including the pilot show). It turns out that Eve Plumb was the "smart" one. She opted not to take part in that travesty. This idea for a musical is about as smart as having a vampire themed musical. (...and we know how THAT turned out.) from RC in Austin, Texas.. where it's a sunny 75 degrees.

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
