I'm going back to see Tale next week and I've been told if you stand by the stage door they take people backstage for tours.. Lets see if I'm lucky enough to get back there! What a treat that would be i have never been on a broadway stage before!

OMG! That's almost as good as when I went up to Cheyenne's dressing room, then later given a backstage tour by him during the All Shook Up run! It was just so cute how he kept his undies in a little basket right out in the open. LOL!! Wheee!!

I hung out with Cheyenne Jackson in his dressing room waayyyyyy before he tickled D2.

Hey Philly!

Just email me next time you're coming to the show and I will meet you and make sure you get to come backstage. We all appreciate the fans more than we can say and that's basically why the people at "Tale" are so accommodating and welcoming to letting people come back and experience a little more than usual.

I'm almost always around town and avail - i will be out of the country next week 10/15 through 10/22 though.

Take care,
Jill

I went backstage when I saw my first Broadway show when I was 4. My mom somehow got me backstage at Cats and I met "Mr. Mistofolles" (sp?). This past January I went backstage at Legally Blonde because of this whole incedent that happend during the strike in November. It was awesome. =)

The only time I have been backstage at a Broadway show was during the revival of 42nd Street. My sister and Mylinda Hull had become friends during the run of a show here in Richmond, VA and she arranged for us to come backstage. The highlight was meeting Christine Ebersole...I really wanted to get up on that staircase though!

Had the pleasure of going onstage to In The Heights with my friend, Robin. He gave us a full tour of the stage and met a few cast mates. I was so impressed with the detail of the set. Since the set did not change during the show, I was amazed how intricate the floors were, even if could not see them from the audience. I know those old buildings from growing up, and the tile detail and everything was wonderful. Even the garbage in the trash can is changed almost every day. We do not go to dressing rooms, but was so happy to be onstage after seeing such a great show.

Lucky! I loved Tale, and I would love to see how it all works. I loved that they left the wings open and you can see the big set pieces sitting in the wings. I think it's such a well-down show.

In 2000, I was quite fortunate to meet some of the actors of Miss Saigon at the Broadway Theater inside their dressing rooms before the show. I got to see them fitted with the wireless microphones too. It was then followed by a complete tour of the stage, sets, props, lunch room and other dressing rooms after the show. The tour guide gave us a cast-signed poster afterwards.

I was also able to get a backstage pass to the Ahmanson Theater (LA) during the tour of Les Miserables and sat down inside Fantine's dressing room for a quick chat and pictures.

The most recent one was a backstage pass to one of Lea Salonga's concerts where she was so gracious to chat, pose for pictures and sign our programs.

Thanks to those wonderful actors for the privilege!
