OZ AT PAPERMILL

My friend just told me that Papermill might be having a quick 2 week revival of their 1998 version of the 1987 version of (confused yet lol?) The Wizard of Oz. I saw it at MSG and yes its me, the dude that wanted to direct the Wizard of Oz and bring it to Broadway (on a prior post I stated that) so I really would like to see it again (I forgot what it was like). Just letting some of u Oz fans know. All I know is that they want Lorna Luft to play Aunt Em/Glinda. I dont know if this whole thing is def. or just an idea.

re: OZ AT PAPERMILL

PAPERMILL'S OZ was great -- Elizabeth Franz as Gulch/Witch.. Kelli Rabke as Dorothy (though Jessica Grove is by FAR the best stage Dorothy you will find (though no doubt Jenna Leigh Green and Juliana Hansen can hold their own)... but the MGS butchering of it was not to great.. the 90 minute adaption was dreadful.

What about Harriet Harris, she'd make a cool Ms. Gultch/The Wicked Witch. That is if they gave her the opening part of the Jitterbug like they did with Eartha Kitt to let her sing a little.
