#1Obtaining Tickets at the Box Office

I was just curious...

I like to save the ticket stubs as souvenirs. The problem is, the show I ordered for on Ticketmaster only had the option where you could get your tickets through email or pay a large fee to have them shipped to you within a couple of days (it didn't even have the option where it will send it to you within 48hrs of the show date...the show is next Wed, so it probably was too soon).

My only option, basically, was to get them through email, and I was wondering...is there a way that I could take my web tickets to the box office window and have them print out the ticket for me?

P.S. Why is there only a will call option on Ticketmaster for international...why don't they do this for within the U.S.?

I have NO CLUE about this issue... But I'm pretty sure if you go to the box office, they'll print out the tickets for you. Again, I'm not sure though...

When I order throught Ticketmaster online, I always have options for mailing tix or will call. They do, however, charge a fee for will call, just as they do for mailing tix or emailing them.

Not sure about Ticketmaster,
but Telecharge e-tickets have a part that looks just like a regular ticket.
And you can print multiple copies if you wish.
So, try printing [in color] on card stock and cut out the ticket-looking section for your collection.

p.s. By the way -- The "tickettakers" don't keep any part of the ticket or e-ticket. They scan it and give it back to you.

pps: Keep control of your multiple copies. The first patron to present any of the copies gets in.

Keep your print-it-yourself ticket with you and the day you get to the show, go there THAT MORNING when they open and tell them you lost your ticket and "can you re-print it?" The worse that can happen is they say "no" and you'll use the ticket you printed yourself.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Millie, ticketmaster does not offer an online Will-Call pickup option for many shows and concerts. This is because they can make more money via the Print-At-Home option or the expedited shipping many have to pay for since they will be out of town in order to attend the show.

What you can do, and it has worked every time I have done it, is to call ticketmaster and request will call. Last time I checked, there is no extra service charge associated with ordering via ticketmaster phone. It is definately worth the try, as many box office's do not like to issue hard copies of print at home tickets if they can avoid it. Hope this helped.
