when i saw the show in san diego... after the money song they said "oh and someone put a stub in from the comic-con convetion" (which if you don't know is a HUGE deal not just in san diego but in the entertainment industry)... the convention center is literally down the street from the theater where ave. q played... when i saw the show up in los angeles, one night they said "a stub from the dodgers game" but then one night they said "a stub from the angels game"...
i'm curious to know what lines they used in other cities...

In SF it was "a stub from a Giants game"
I saw the show twice in LA and I thought it was super great! The whole cast was really talented and great in their roles, not to mention really nice at the stage door. Both times I saw it, I think they said "A ticket stub from an Angels' game."
Haha, my brother got out his wallet when they came into the audience and Christmas Eve got all excited.
Saw the Avenue Q tour last night in Des Moines, Iowa.
I was impressed.
Wow, very strong and talented cast!
Enthusiastic audience laughed and applauded the entire evening.
Just got back from seeing the tour in Pittsburgh. This was my first time seeing the show and I loved it! I agree 100% with Steve2. Very strong and talented cast.
Kelli Sawyer was my highlight when she sang "There's a Fine, Fine Line."
Question, though: Does the cast always come out into the audience during "The Money Song." They said at the Curtain Call and money put into their hats would go to Broadway Equity Fights Aids. I was just wondering if they always raise money for the fund.

In Vegas in 2005, it was like a stub from Celine Dion or a coupon for the buffet at Bellagio
Yeah, in Pittsburgh it's a ticket stub from a Steelers' game.

Do they have a rush for the other cities? It's coming near me so I'm curious...
