What the hell WAS that?!
I LOVE THAT!!"

I'm having a Moss Hart attack!
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

"I have unreturned phone calls older than you!"-Cubby Bernstein. If only he were a producer than he would become the new David Merrick.

Cubby definitely needs to present a Tony at this year's ceremony!

all of this Cubby business makes me more excited to see "Cubby" (Adam Reigler) as Young Shrek on Broadway, this coming November.

Did you all catch the shout out to Cubby Bernstein last night at the Drama Desk Awards? When Douglas Carter Beane won for Outstanding Book he said "I guess Cubby was right!" I cracked up but I don't think a lot of the audience members got the joke.

Where does it say he's going to be young Shrek?
Also:
I think this might give Xanadu a shot at the Tony. I don't know, it might just be crazy enough to work.

this is one of the funniest things ever - i am in disbelief as to the depth they have gone with this. anyone who wants it this bad, deserves it.
