I think the only person to have an understudy/standby go on was Allison. Amy went on three times, I think. Plus, I read that Steve (or was it Sean...I can't remember which one. I suck) went on as Magnus either yesterday or today.

Drew went on as Lestat for Act 2 tonight! He was fantastic as I hear, but his blond wig had other plans, read about it here.

I won't swear to it 100%, but I'm almost sure Drew had no idea he'd be going on for Act 2 on Friday.

wow... there is a drew sarich love thread! yay! he was AMAZING in lestat. i totally came out of that show as a drew fan. i love hugh and carolee... but drew... omg amazing! ok just had to throw that out there.

I was the same way in SF. I saw Drew January 7 (well, I would just say "heard" since I was so damn far away I couldn't really see anything) and the rest is history! I was awe-struck!
