Well guys, looks like I'm not going to be able to go to NY this October after all. This means I have a couple of theatre tickets in hand that I'm now going to have to sell - probably at a big loss. (Since it's lack of financing that's keeping me from going - this REALLY hurts. You know that line in Great Big Stuff about finally being able to buy a ticket to a Broadway show? It really isn't funny at all.)
ANYWAY - I wanted to let you guys know that I'm offering the DRS ticket for the 10/15 matinee (orchestra row H, seat 9) to anyone here who wants it for $80.00. I know that's an awful lot but it cost me $102.50 and I have to get some of my money back. If anyone is interested, just PM me.
wickedrentq, i believe it was your pencil on the cam. check your messages.
hey all. Just poping in to say hey before having a shower and going down to my community theatre to stike a set. Last time before going to college so it's a sad day. talk to you all later.
Thanks Sarah and all.
You know what the saddest part is? I got to see DRS in early June. I had broken my leg in March and although it was healing all right, I still would get pangs of pain in it all the time. Well, right after the start of the show, it started throbbing and just kept getting worse. I managed to make it to intermission before I had to leave so I could stretch it out on a bed. I never got to see the second act - never got to see "Like Zis - Like Zat". Now it looks like I never will.
Those chairs are killer, I swear I think they were built for a race of people without legs...
Anyway, I'm dead broke right now, which is alot of fun, however if there is no one around here who can buy them, you can always try the old standbys craiglist and Ebay, and if I were you I would try them at full price first and than lower if no one buys, ya never know...
Wrq, I'd be more than happy to take a picture of your pencil and ask Greg about it.
You guys should totally bring him a jar of candy!!
Aww, thanks Traci!
Dre...good to know what pics you meant in the PM, I was confused lol, but like I said, didn't go through, try the e-mail.
I'm sorry Mamie, I can't imagine having ot leave a great show at intermission. If it seems that you may miss the OBC I highly suggest err finding other ways of viewing the show w/ the cast, and to watch the end...I know for a fact there are err certainly ones available for DRS, hope you know what I mean...
It funny that you mention that Catherine because I was planning on it. I'm bringing him a bag of Jelly Bellys. Thats what's in his candy jar. The jar of M&M's we always see on the cam are actually from John's dressing room.
Bring him a new candy! Gummy worms would be amusing!
All right then. Gummy worms it is!

haha. i think Andrew + gummy worms= hilarity. ...or danger...who knows. i agree, gummy worms would be interesting for all.
Mmmm.. gummy worms..
Hey, did you guys read that Joanna's husband is stepping into the role of Fabrizio's father in Light in the Piazza? I thought that was cool.
No never heard that, but it is pretty cool.
I heard that, bit weird he looks a bit too old for it, t'will be interesting, Matt is a hard act to follow...
Cat, he's not stepping into Matt's role of Fabrizio, he's stepping into Mark's role as his father, but he too was also very good.
Hmmm...wonder if I go to Piazza stage door at some point and talk to him, explain I went to two signings and just missed Joanna, would lvoe to meet her, etc...I mean, if you don't ask, you don't get...hmm something to ponder
Aaron Lazar is taking Matt's place. I don't know anything about him, so I can't really comment. I can just say.. I'm going to miss Matt.
ITA Kerrie. I'm going back the 24th, bringing my mom and aunt, didn't know when he was leaving at that point, so glad I get to go back to see him one more time and get another hug and say bye at the stage door.
I wish I could go back and see him again.
Woo, that makes a lot more sense....I'm so easily befuddled

Hello to anyone who's here! The awards are today, don't forget...starting at 5PM EST. If I don't make it by 5:30, it will be rescheduled again for Monday at 5PM EST.
hey guys! Sorry I missed the awards. I completely forgot about them. I was watching the Friends marathon. So good! Love that show. Anyway, congrats to everyone!!!! Gave, great job with the awards ceremony. Nobert, sorry you had to work with her, but you did sign a contract with my company. Glad you could fulfill it. (jk gav!)
Traci, if you're bringing the gummi bears, I guess I'll bring the jelly beans. Sour or regular?
and wrq, we will take a picture of the pencil. With Greg in it. Pointing to it if you want, with a huge smile on his face. Or not. Whatever. And we'll try and figure out how Greg can "float." anything else you want us to do while we're there? Traci and I can be representaives of the GFU. Or ambassadors!!! Whatever. lol.
talk later! bye.
hey Jamie, I would like to find more too. Although, I did see a Ruprecht one (Nobert on John's lap). Just google "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." Or here, I'll post what I have found here:

When i get to college, I'm going to print them out and either put them in my scrapbook or on my college dorm room wall. Hope my roomate doesn't mind.
hey, does anyone else think that Jason in the fan picture with greg (one of the new ones) looks very familiar. Like you have seen him before, maybe in another picture?
