I've watching his acceptance speech twice, but only because I missed half of it the first time because I was squealing and giggling so loud.

I don't think it includes a backstage tour. Just house tickets, etc. Whatever they said on the website.

Well, I never actually started a website. I meant to, but I suck at HTML and it just never happened. My fanclub is on yahoo.com - this I've been meaning to get going again for a month or so now.

you should make a bww fan page and we all send you a picture to put in it

That'd be cool. Basically what I was thinking that if anyone wants to submit a letter of congratulations or something, submit a picture of yourself or of you with Norbert and I can put that next to the letter so Norbert knows who wrote it. But I love the BWW page!

And I'm seeing DRS on August 9th (my 21st birthday!) - but I'll be in NYC from the 6th through the 13th.

I don't know, DRS. I consider myself pretty damn obsessed with the man but I'm kind of quiet about it.

Okay, my opinion on what he sounds best on:

DRS - Dirty Rotten Number and Love Is My Legs
Wicked - ALAYM
TL5Y - This is a tough one, but I think If I Didn't Believe In You
Rent - OSG and Another Day

There's also this one song from the reading of Feeling Electric that he sings that just makes me want to bawl. I'm sure A would know which one it is better than I would since I've only heard it a few times. It's the one where he's singing about his wife (Sherie's character) and how she left him alone and whatnot. Ugh. SUCH a good song.

I had a "dream" (I was in that state between sleep and conciousness) last night about meeting Norbert and I was tearing up because I was so happy at the idea of meeting him. If I'm getting like this now... I may need someone there with me when I meet him for the first time! LOL

Poor Norbert. I'll be sending some warm & fuzzy "Get well, soon!" vibes his way. If I ever hear about him getting that disease or whatever it is on his vocal chords that, if not treated immediately, will require surgery (and even then it's not guaranteed you'll sing again - look what happened to Julie Andrews)... I'll cry. A lot. *KNOCKS ON WOOD*

I had an interesting Norbert moment tonight, though. I went and saw a local production of Take Me Out (one of the best plays I've ever seen, thank you) and someone I know was in it and I was talking to him at the cast party and he was talking about how he was in the Nebraska Theatre Caravan. Well, awhile ago, I found out Norbert was with the NTC for a little while a long time ago. At the time, I freaked out thinking "OMG! I could have seen Norbert when I was like, EIGHT!" because our elementary school used to field trip to NTC shows all the time. Anyways, I asked Kevin (the guy I know) when he was with the NTC and he said '93/'94 and that's about the time Norbert was with them (I think). I mentioned Norbert and wether he recognized the name or not.... and he said it ringed a bell.

Um, I may know someone that's worked with Norbert! *Dies* Granted, it was 13 or so years ago but that's not the point!

Umm.. Urinetown and revival of LSOH anyone? He's originated roles before. Being a replacement isn't so bad. It's a job, isn't it?
