Oh, and just to answer my own question, I discovered Norbert via Wicked. Thought he had a great voice and then I saw pictures and I was like *thud*.. ahem. And then I did, er, 'research' on him and that got me stuck on The Last 5 Years. And finding out he replaced Adam in Rent definitely made me squeal. So yeah. There's my story.

Though I fell in love with him after I read the article about when Wicked was in rehearsals in San Fran and he took his curtain call bow naked to lighten the mood. *Giggle*

I admire how quirky, different, original, and simply brilliant he is. On pure talent and personality alone Norbert's lovable but fortunately he's also nice to gaze at. LOL. What's not to love?

And yes, he's exceedingly snuggly now. I wonder if he lurks around BWW and has come across this thread yet only to see how snuggly we all think he is. Hehehe!

I wonder what song that was. Did they do more than 3 songs at the press rehearsal? Because I know I saw pictures from "Great Big Stuff", "Here I Am", and "Dirty Rotten Number"..

There's dialogue going on, and Norbert's sitting on the steps to the side battling with this beef jerky. Then he just ends up on the floor.

OhmyNorbert. Just the mental image of that had me in a fit of giggles. I canNOT wait to see this damn show! What other scenes were favs? I live for spoilers, so if you only want to tell me in PM or whatever, it's all good.

Alejandra and I have talked about this before - how Norbert&Adam and Sherie&Idina are all somewhat interchangable with roles. At least vocally.

Does anyone know Norbert's age and whether his is still married? I've read conflicting reports that either he is married or divorced (I know he has 2 daughters..)
