I don't know, DRS. I consider myself pretty damn obsessed with the man but I'm kind of quiet about it.
Okay, my opinion on what he sounds best on:
DRS - Dirty Rotten Number and Love Is My Legs
Wicked - ALAYM
TL5Y - This is a tough one, but I think If I Didn't Believe In You
Rent - OSG and Another Day
There's also this one song from the reading of Feeling Electric that he sings that just makes me want to bawl. I'm sure A would know which one it is better than I would since I've only heard it a few times. It's the one where he's singing about his wife (Sherie's character) and how she left him alone and whatnot. Ugh. SUCH a good song.
I had a "dream" (I was in that state between sleep and conciousness) last night about meeting Norbert and I was tearing up because I was so happy at the idea of meeting him. If I'm getting like this now... I may need someone there with me when I meet him for the first time! LOL

Poor Norbert. I'll be sending some warm & fuzzy "Get well, soon!" vibes his way. If I ever hear about him getting that disease or whatever it is on his vocal chords that, if not treated immediately, will require surgery (and even then it's not guaranteed you'll sing again - look what happened to Julie Andrews)... I'll cry. A lot. *KNOCKS ON WOOD*
I had an interesting Norbert moment tonight, though. I went and saw a local production of Take Me Out (one of the best plays I've ever seen, thank you) and someone I know was in it and I was talking to him at the cast party and he was talking about how he was in the Nebraska Theatre Caravan. Well, awhile ago, I found out Norbert was with the NTC for a little while a long time ago. At the time, I freaked out thinking "OMG! I could have seen Norbert when I was like, EIGHT!" because our elementary school used to field trip to NTC shows all the time. Anyways, I asked Kevin (the guy I know) when he was with the NTC and he said '93/'94 and that's about the time Norbert was with them (I think). I mentioned Norbert and wether he recognized the name or not.... and he said it ringed a bell.
Um, I may know someone that's worked with Norbert! *Dies* Granted, it was 13 or so years ago but that's not the point!

Norb talked about how he moved around from place to place for whatever girl he was dating.
Wow. There's a committed guy right there. Of course, moving around from place to place and being an actor is better - more opportunity and whatnot.
I want to ask Norbert about the time he spent with the NTC, but I'd hate to make him feel old. "Yeah, I may have seen you with the NTC once!" "Oh yeah? That was a long time ago." "I know. I was in elementary school and now I'm 21." "...."

Okay, here's what I posted over at Prodigious regarding the Tony scrapbook:
As I mentioned in a post earlier this week, I'm putting together a Tony scrapbook for Norbert from all of us (his fans and Prodigious fanclub members) to him! I figured it would be a way to get everyone active and get the fanclub back on its feet.
Basically what the scrapbook is going to be is our letters of congratulations to Norbert regarding his Tony win. But it doesn't have to be just letters. It can also be poems, collages, etc. If you'd like, you can either email me the letter (or whatever else) and I'll print it out and put it in the scrapbook, or you can snailmail me the letter. I'd prefer the latter as it's more personal looking if you do that, but it's up to you. :) Also, if you'd like to send along a picture of you with Norbert if you have one to be put beside your letter, that'd be awesome! This way Norbert knows who wrote the letter and he can put faces to names.
So, if you decide to email the letter, please send it to measureiniove@aol.com - and if you send a picture along with it online, please send it as a file attachment.
If you're going to snailmail me the letter, please email me above so I can give you the address. The same thing goes with the picture. If you're sending it online, email it to me as a file attachment. If you're sending me an actual copy of a photo, you can go ahead and snailmail that, too.
The deadline for all letters, etc. & pictures is AUGUST 1ST. No later. I'm going to New York the week of the 6th - 13th and am planning on giving it to Norbert then.
If you have any questions regarding this, feel free to ask. :) I can't wait to see all of your submissions!

You and me both, hedwig. As I said there, I think the diamonds give Fiyero more character and make him have something in common with Elphaba and they make him less like... everyone else. 
I'm sad the diamonds didn't work out, but it's good to know they at least tried!

Indeed, but to me, the connection between Fiyero and Elphaba is on two completely different levels without the diamonds.
With them, he has (as DRS mentioned) some sort of connection with Elphaba from the beginning - they both have "faults" with their skin that people find unusual, so it makes them stick out. That's one of the things I noticed strongly in the book. Every student at Shiz commented in some way regarding Fiyero's diamonds except for Elphaba. And when she finally did comment on them, years later, all she said was how beautiful she found them.
Without them, though, he looks like any other person in the show and it doesn't give him that self-conscious appeal that the book!Fiyero has.
I wonder if Norbert played Fiyero slightly different when they had the diamonds on him. Because, in my opinion, Fiyero's a completely different person without the diamonds than he would be with them. Or so that's my take on the character.

Haha, as much as I love Norbert, you can keep that term for yourself. :P
ETA: Matt_G posted at the "Idina in LA run???" thread on the main board that word has it that Idina and Kristin might be reprising their roles for the West End (assuming that's what he's talking about) opening of Wicked. Too bad I don't think Norbert would be willing to pack up and move off to England if he had to leave his daughters here with their mother. I'd die to have the chance to be able to see Norbert and Idina again, since I've never gotten to see any of the OBC anyways.

Random post for the night:
I was just looking at my CD insert for my Dirty Rotten Scoundrels cast recording and had a bout of excitment that consisted of inwardly squealing "Oh my God, I'm seeing Norbert in a month and a half!" and nearly crying out of pure happiness.
Me = a total loser for Norbert
What am I going to do when I actually MEET him? Oy vey.

A, what's Norbert's one solo song from Feeling Electric about his character's wife and how she left him alone and all of that? Really depressing, but beautiful song. Norbert wrenches my heart on that one.
Also, wasn't there word about a production of this going up in Seattle with Michael Arden as the son?
