I'm counting the minutes to 9:00. I love SJP and am going to miss seeing her every week on tv once this season is over and the show is gone for good. As much as I hate to see SITC go, I think they're doing the right thing in ending it while it's still hot and the writing is still sharp. Like Mama Rose says, "make them beg for more then, don't give it to them".

Also, the Queer As Folk finale is on tonight?? Is anybody planning on watching that?? The show is sooooo soapopera-ish it is ridiculous.

I agree that it's a good idea to go out on top while they still can. I'm quite happy that the Sopranoes added on to their contract this week so I won't be cancelling HBO anytime soon.

QAF, SITC and I just picked up the new Harry Potter book.....what a full Sunday night I'm going to have. Although, I may forego QAF for Harry since QAF is getting a bit dull. That is a show that needs to think about calling it quits.

I'm also glad they're going out while the going is still good. However, this was a show which gave work to a lot of NY actors (myself included), as Law & Order does, so it's a shame this will stop.

I was so happy to see Aidan, standing on the sidewalk, his usual casual self......and then he turns around, and there is.....well, I won't spoil it by saying. Happy and sad all at the same time. How could she have dropped him for Mr. Big?!?!?!? Oh well. It's great to have the gals back and I think it's going to be a terrific season!

Possible spoiler alert!
I loved this premiere episode! Especially the scene with Steve and the doodoo. I love David Eigenberg and his character of Steve, so I'm happy he's back!

The doodoo was a HOOT! I am a fairly new fan so I don't know the history of the show, but am I the only one who thinks that SJP's outfits are HORRENDOUS?

Re: SJP's outfits-no, you're not alone! Me thinks Ms. Field just likes to shock, and she's successful, especially with out-of-towners. You see a lot of ridiculous outfits in NYC, so Carrie's outfits are nothing new here.

I was shocked to see Aidan since I read he was out of the show and he is in a new series. He seemed heavier. I was tring to remember how long ago they were supposed to have broken up. He was married and with a baby already. I think Mr. Big is definitely sexy.........He is hot hot hot. yummy!!!!!!!!!

I was so excited to see "Steve" in Take Me Out. He had a really nice body too. Take Me Out was excellent.

Wait a minute, Carrie didn't break up with Aidan to go back to Big. She and Aidan were living together and planning to get married when she realized she wasn't ready for marriage....he was. Big wasn't really a romantic part of her life tehn, he was a friend and has remained just a freind so far...who knows how the show will end
To answer the question why is he called Big. Before Carrie met him she would see him around town having power lunches, rushing off in his limo, etc. She didn't know his name but knew he was someoen imporatnt and powerful in the business world. So, when talking to her freinds about the hot guy she kept seeing around town, she refered to him as Mr. Big. I think that when she finally met him, the writers and director decided it was more interesting never to reveal his name. So, the girls kept calling him Big asa nick name and when alone with him, Carrie never uses his name.

See and I think Aiden is ten times more attractive than Big...but I go back to the days when Aiden was on Northern Exposure. But when he turned around last night....I pictured an arrow going right through Carrie's heart. I have been there and done that!!! LOL!
But another thing I adored about last night was Evan Handler and Charlotte. Their last scene in the bedroom was absolutely adorable. I hope they continue b/c I think they are perfect for each other. (Also, been in those shoes before!)
And I have to say that I love Berger...such a mensch!!!

Oh, yeah. I sooo felt for Carie when he turned around. Especially with SJP's perormance, you could just see her breath stop for a second.
