sorry, thought i posted this before, i apologize CATS NY....i took your meaning to be about my post because in context it came right after mine.
There are plenty of guys in NYC and all over who have great bodies but you need talent to to get past most Broadway auditions.
The role of ROCKY was written for performers like Nick, I wish him well with the role, and as others here have said, we are not "best friends", by a long shot but he always remembers my name and is pleasant to talk to.
All accomplished actors are "full of themselves." Otherwise they'd be denizens of Internet message boards.
CurtainPullDowner: I absolutely agree with you. We only get to see about half of an artist's efforts in a show: the performance you see onstage. As others have stated in previous posts, an artist must practice their role and exercise their body /voice to stay in top physical shape. Also, artists shouldn't be criticized because they model on occasion. Even when they're cast in a show, they earn only "so" much. It is very expensive to live in NYC. The situation becomes more difficult when they're "in between shows." They have to earn a living the best way they can. More power to them! from RC in Austin, Texas
