Nick Adams is tackling the role of "Rocky" in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" in Oklahoma. Wow! from RC in Austin, Texas... headed to the Emerald City (San Francisco) from December 26 -- 29.
From Nick's Official Website:
Heads up, I am currently in rehearsals for Rocky in The Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Lyric theatre in Oklahoma City. The show opens October 9th and runs through November 1st. Come check it out if you are in the area. This show is crazy....and once again, I 'm wearing nothing.
Nick Adams As Rocky
Shouldn't he know the stage version is called The Rocky Horror Show?

I find him very full of himself, but whatever.
Well, obviously, but I can't blame him. Not many people look like that and remain humble.
Any role that requires Nick to be shirtless is a good role for him! Im thrilled.
Not just shirtless. In teeny-tiny underwear too. And I agree. That's pretty much his talent.

I wouldn't say humble.
I didn't mean that he is humble. I'm agreeing. He is full of himself.

Like, I get that he has a great body and works hard for it, but you don't see everyone else always posting shirtless pictures of themselves. It's like, c'mon, you've got to more than just a pretty face, right? Or is that all you've got going for you? Cause, hm...that fads.
No. I totally think that is all he has going for him. He's not the best actor, he sort of plays himself, and though he does have a nice vocal range having played Mary Sunshine in Chicago, it's never really been showcased to its potential. It's always about his body.

be careful. he's messaged people before for saying similar things about him. kinda weird.
Well, I think he would agree that most of the time the focus is on his abs and not his abilities as a singer, dancer and actor.
I for one think he is an amazing performer, and was very down to earth and NOT full of it when I met him at the stage door of ACL.
He's young. He'll improve. I don't think someone is qualified to say he's (Nick) full of himself, unless you know him personally. Nick has a great body. If he's comfortable with his body, then it's pretty much his business how he chooses to "show it off." But of course, some people revel in being judge and jury. It makes them feel "special." (I think jealousy plays at least SOME part in the criticism.) Good luck to Nick! His future is bright. from RC in Austin, Texas
It's true that it's not fair, but at the same time it's easy to assume so based on his website. One look and it's obvious which aspect of his "talent" he's trying to market.

I have several friends who have worked with him and they have all said that he is a great guy, understands how to market himself, but very humble actually.
My friends are in this!! Hi friends!! Oh...hi Nick Adams!
Just because he has a great body, it doesn't mean he has no talent. I think he is very hot, but no one gets to be in shows like "A Chorus Line" just because they look good. He obviously has talent. And Im glad he is generous to the audience and shows off his body! Go Nick!

I thought he was a good dancer...don't know about his singing...but he is an absolutely horiible actor.

seriously.
i think Nick would be great in Rocky...wish I could see it. Better him in it than some MTV remake.

I thought he was a great dancer, and from what I've heard a wonderful singer. His acting was decent, but there wasn't much of it in his role in ACL.
Honestly, since none of us know him personally, there's really no way for us to tell how full-of-himself he is or what his "focus" is. And I agree that the shirtless pics seem like more of a marketing tool than anything else (though being a straight male, I don't get why people find him so attractive- he obviously has a nice body, but his face isn't anything special).

I would go, but they aren't doing a single matinée, and OKC is too far a drive to do at night.
..and once again, I 'm wearing nothing.
This statement would certainly lead people to believe he is full of himself.
Whatever, I personally think he looks like a girl (he can send me nasty messages if he wants).

"Honestly, since none of us know him personally,"
That's a bit presumptuous, isn't it!
