I wonder if they thought John Gallagher Jr. was too old or if he even auditioned for the part. I looked up Teller on IMDB.com and he doesn't even have any major TV credits. Should be interesting.
I take it Oh and Esposito are playing roles that aren't on the play. I love Oh, she's one of the best film actresses around today and Esposito was terrific in the most recent revival of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF. What a cast, it sounds like a promising movie.
John Gallagher IS too old for the part. The guy's well into his twenties now, and the part is of a high school student. I'm not surprised they cast an unknown actor as the kid.
The other actors they're adding are all really interesting (I love Sandra Oh!) but I wonder who they're playing, and how they've pumped up the screenplay. The play is only five characters.

Sandra Oh is so underappreciated. And she keeps getting these itty bitty roles in movies. Like "Hard Candy." She's in it for maybe 5 minutes. I hope this isn't the same case.
Malcolm, I meant to say they thought he was too old for the part, I'll fix that, thanks for pointing it out.
