YES!! I love these-- have old radio versions of musicals and films on my ipod, and they are great for traveling or even listening to at work.

I would recommend that you also check out versions by the Screen Guild Theater and Lux Radio, which produced versions of numerous films--both musicals and not-- such as Anchors Aweigh, The Jazz Singer, National Velvet and dozens more I can't think of off the top of my head. Whenever possible they used the original film actors for the radio production Old-Time Radio Versions of Musicals

I have the series and they're very enjoyable. Be aware though they're condensed radio program transcriptions of the shows and the score is often presented in a "medley" format. Still they're great to have and the sound quality is fine for their age. The company seems to take pride in their product too.

I used to listen to these all the time! They introduced me to a great many older musicals.

There was a series based on the Rodgers & Hart show JUMBO, and a set sponsored by the Theatre Guild that did broadcasts of LADY IN THE DARK, ALLEGRO and KNICKERBOCKER HOLIDAY with the original casts.

One of my favorites is a broadcast of Cole Porter and Orson Welles' AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS by Welles' Mercury Theatre On The Air, mainly because it wasn't recorded and that's the only way to hear the songs sung by the original cast.

Mary Healy from the original cast of AROUND THE WORLD...

Neat! Also, there really are a lot of musicals with titles that consist of only of a woman's first name, aren't there?
