Oliver tickets

I've got a friend coming from Australia who has his heart set on seeing Oliver on Friday February 20. However, on the website it says "Limited Tickets - Phone Customer Support." I called and they said that the performance was sold out. Why then does the website not just say "Sold Out"? Are they holding tickets for comps, day seats or something else?

What are some other reliable avenues that I could take to get tickets for that certain performance?

Might be incase they get returns.

If your mate is coming over from Australia, surely he is going to be over for more than 1 night, what I mean might pay to be more flexible with your dates!

I've run into this before with Delfont-Mackintosh -- I rang the box office and asked about it (when told the performance in question was sold out). I was told that the "Limited Tickets-Sold Out" message is an automatically-generated message on the website that bears no relation to reality, er, [insert something more suitable].

I believe there are returns, and you're probably better off queuing for returns on a Wednesday or Thursday when Jodie is not performing (I gather certain theatregoers won't see it without her). But I'm not 100% certain about either of those points.
