I'm very happy that CAROLINE won, especially over two Tony winning Best Musicals -- AVENUE Q and SPAMALOT (as well as Nunn's PORGY & BESS). The show has now swept all of the major London theatre awards. I'd imagine Kushner and Tesori are feeling quite vindicated right now, given the lukewarm critical reception it received in New York.
