This has always been one of my favorite films since I watched it with my Dad shortly after Marlon Brando passed away.
I'm curious as to how the stage adaptation fared on Broadway.
I also understand there is a production playing or about to open in London. Is this a revival of that production?

I am under the impression the version currently in the West End is a new version. I've also been informed it's one of the most terrible productions in the West End right now. I'd be interested in hearing if it's better or worse than Girl with a Pearl Earring. Damn, I bet that theatre can't WAIT for Waiting for Godot to move in... XD
EDIT: never mind, it's not new, it's the same script as the Broadway production. I guess I was confused 'cos Steven Berkoff - currently directing and acting OTW in the West End - is a playwright. Doesn't mean the production's not terrible though... XD

This show got a bad rap - Ron Eldard was a very good Terry - was based on the noel which of course came before the film.
