"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

I remember seeing Ms.Channing in like...I want to say 1994 when she was touring with Hello Dolly!. My Aunt got front row tickets and bailed last minute, so I saw it in the front row with my Mom. I was very young but still remember what a force she was!

What a genius Mr. Larson was. I think he would have given the world many more works of art. Rent was the first show I had ever seen on Broadway, it was unlike anything I had ever seen on a stage. Also, when Tick Tick Boom! came to City Center, the energy in that room was so electric. Karen, Lin, and Leslie were on fire that gorgeous Summer night. He is missed.
