Looks like People In The Picture cast album is dead as no news of it for sometime. Hopefully, the same cannot be said for Death.

I was under the impression that the cast of PEOPLE IN THE PICTURE had already gone into the studio and recorded. Remember that there isn't always such urgency in releasing cast recordings, especially of shows that have already closed. It's not like BOOK OF MORMON or CATCH ME IF YOU CAN, where it can be sold at the theatre, so there's a vested interest to get it recorded, pressed, and available ASAP.

AC is correct. The People In The Picture cast album has been recorded. The disc is scheduled to be mastered shortly, and the release is currently planned for late September. Of course, dates are subject to change, but I believe it unlikely that the project will miss its projected release date.
