Ok, so I didn't count the votes, but it's obvious that of those of us who voted, the majority liked it. Not that we thought it was perfect, we can all agree, that there were definitely flaws, and some questionable choices.
But, no movie musical will ever be a able to match or better a good musical, because you can't recreate the energy of live theatre. Personally, I thought it was just about as good as it could have been for a film version. Although, I would be interested in hearing the reasons behind some of the changes.
