Yes. There are some nice moments in the film. But overall it's okay.

YES :)
(as in this movie probably holds more of a special place in my heart than any other movie right now. There's so much that goes into it though, and I wont get into it, but just yes. I just have to say though that, for the most part, I DID like the directing a lot. That seems to be a pretty unpopular opinion)

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

Yes. They changed what was needed in order for it to work on film.

so yeah, I'm a dork with no life- and I decided to count this all up as best I could, because I was curious
leaving room for error (cause I'm sure I made some), the tally is about like this:
Yes- 182 (some more concrete then others, but they were all yes nonetheless)
No- 23
Meh- 9
sooo, in percentage that would be:
Yes- about 85%
No- about 11%
Meh- about 4%
granted it makes sense that most of the people who come in here WOULD say yes, simply because if you didn't like it you wouldn't necasserily bother with coming in here and saying so, but still.. I thought it was kind of cool

And unfortunately, I would have to disagree with you on the above comment, snl89. People who hate "Rent" around here certainly *would* come and say so. It's the BWW way. I'm suprised that the hords of haters haven't already descended on this post in the hundreds.

Yes.
Of course it's not perfect and there are things I would change, but as a whole, I still love it and the fact that it was made.
