Ok everyone lets try to collect all those rumours, "I heard this"s, and actual information about the rush/lottery/standingroom/cancellation tickets/hanging from the balcony policies for this season. Also, everyone's experiences with said policies.
I know personally I'm interested in...

Just a follow up about Roundabout:
at the American Airlines, the rush tickets are usually in the last rows of the mezzanine. However, Pajama Game is sold out, so there aren't any.
at Studio 54, the rush tickets are in the mid-mezz.
On the sides. They'll also sell rear-orchestra for rush, because since there's an overhang they're sort-of obstructed.
Students get half-off of cancellation tickets for the Pajama Game. Line up around 5:30 - 6ish. I did it a couple weeks ago and ended up 2nd row. Totally worth it.
So the Drowsy Rush seats are going to be in the front row of the Orchestra? Wowza!
Wow. Thanks for the advice, Westernsky.
Is Threepenny gonna have Obstructed like they did for Streetcar?
Oooh, good stuff, endlessly helpful, keep it coming!

Foster - they didn't specify where the Drowsy lotto seats are, but one can assume it's the front row.
BwayBaby18 - I don't think there are obstructed views at Studio 54, the way 3Penny is staged. However, I heard one or two people in one of the last rows talking about how they couldn't see the Wedding scene.
The control booth is blocking the very last row in the mezz, but I don't know if they sold those seats.

Did you just tell them when you got tickets that you were a student?
You should probably bring a student ID.

what are the chanes of the DRS lotto being easy on wednesday at 2?
How about Festen? Anybody know about student tickets, lottos, or rushes for that?
I've heard the DRS lotto is extremely easy on Wednesdays, both at 2 and 8
I've tried the DRS lotto on many many Wednesdays, both at 2 and at 8, I'd say 12-15 times since the show opened, and I still haven't won. It's just the luck of the draw.
I've won the lottos at DRS and Avenue Q. I guess i'm lucky.
I understand that the DRS lottery seats are no longer in the front row however....I enjoyed my front row seat. The conductor was a hottie!

Festen has $30 tickets sold in advance to anyone under $30. The seats are located in orchestra on the sides. Not sure if they are technically partial view.
According to Talkin Broadway, Three Days Rain will have standing room, but it doesnt specify if its one or 2 per person
Is the Lestat rush student or general?
Bump.
OK, rephrasing my question about PJ Game "student tickets"...so you just wait in the regular cancellation line and if you get a ticket you show them your student ID and get 50%? or is it only at a specific time before curtain?
Just wait in the regular cancellation line and have your student ID.
As for the DRS lotto - I've done it 8 times and I've only lost twice. Saturday nights are really crowded. I went once on a Wednesday evening and everyone but 2 people won. Haven't done the Wednesday matinee. But also keep in mind that it's spring break season, and it's likely to be more crowded than usual.

Note about the Festen Rush --> I purchased tickets the other day and was informed that the offer runs out on April 16th.
Is the Three Penny Opera student rush in effect as of now or when it offically opens? I really want to see it possibly Saturday matinee if they have Staning Room or Student Rush.
