Where are your seats? If you don't mind me asking.

I won't find 'til sometime tomorrow, unfortunately. I'm crossing my fingers that they're good.

Why would you order tickets and not know where your seats are?

Because Telecharge did not have any good seats left for the performance I wanted to go to. All the orchestra seats were either the last or next to the last seat in the row.( meaning far right or left) and to top it off they were in like, Row S. And...that's just the way Broadway.com is, they don't let you know where you'll be sitting until after 24 hrs. I was desperate, and hoping that Broadway.com would provide me with soem good seats.

That seems way too risky for me. Especially with a 20% fee. For that price I would want to be able to know before-hand, where my seats are.

I know, the anticipation is killin' me. If they're not that good maybe I'll just curl up in a corner and whimper silently for an hour or two...

I just got an email from Broadway.com saying that the performance I wanted tickets for is sold out. Now I either have to choose another date or use Care Tix..which is what I wanted to do in the first place.

Wow, Broadway.com sounds like it's quite a hassle, especially with that 20% service charge. For that, they should get you center stage row E, or front mezz, AND hand deliver them to you at your house.

They are a hassle. I was hoping to get good seats through them but I guess I can't. I want great seats to see Gypsy for the first time, not crappy seats that I pay nearly $130 a ticket for. That's it...I'm callin' Care Tix..now. lol

Does anyone know why the heck I can't get a hold of CareTix? I've called the hotline so many times for cryin out loud. It keeps saying that the number has been disconnected.

If I were you I would go with Telecharge, or call the box office directly.

I'm not sure how I posted the same reply twice. Sorry.

I called Telecharge, no good seats left, or atleast no seats that I'm gonna pay $100 for. I'm expecting 4th row, center orchestra, I just want to be able to get a decent seat atleast in the middle of the orchestra.

Also, it's no use going to the Box Office. Broadway.com gets their tickets from them, and Broadway.com said they were sold out.

I finally found out why I couldn't get ahold of CareTix. Not only was I not dialing 1 before the area code and number, but they were also not open today for some reason. lol

PJ... Do we really need to know the minute-by-minute rundown of your ticket buying process? Sorry you had so much drama, but come on! Oh, and I did use Broadway.com ONCE and they did get me good seats. But I guess if a show is sold out, it's sold out!

That won't be necessary--and why so touchy? Just look back on the whole thread. It's a bit much!
