Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:02pmI am still unsure if the outfit shown in my icon is for "Out Tonight", or if it is the regular blue pants get up? Many have said the regular outfit was kept, but on another RENT thread someone said "Out Tonight" was performed at the club. And if you watch Rosario's mouth during that part in the trailer, it does seem as if she is singing "Out Tonight". I was just confused about this, and was wondering if anyone knew for sure?

Posted: 6/4/05 at 3:03pmYes, that's Out Tonight. Yesterday, Wax Lion posted that it takes place in a lot of different places, like... Mimi will be in the club performing, then walking outside, then finding Roger, etc, and she'll be wearing several different outfits over the course of the song.

OUT TONIGHT starts at The Cat Scratch and moves on to Mimi walking home, entering the apartment building and making her way up to see Roger. There's a clip of Ro kissing Adam in between OUT TONIGHT and ANOTHER DAY in the teaser. It works great in the movie...look for it! And as far as costumes go, Mimi wears several different costumes during OUT TONIGHT.

It makes sense for "Mimi" to be wearing the bra, garter belt and panties while she's performing at The Cat Scratch Club since she is a stripper. My guess is they'll show her in the blue vinyl pants while she's heading home.
They shot some stuff in an alleyway, possibly some fire escape shots of Rosario to emulate the look the number had in the stage show.

in the script i have (and posted) shes in the club the entire time and angel sings with her...
but im positive there have been changes since they wrote the copy i have.
