I know Wicked can be a very polarizing topic on here, but their new Out of Oz: Wicked Studio Session video series could be interesting. (It reminds me of Billboard's Live Studio Sessions series where artists perform acoustic versions of their songs.)
Anyway - they've started up with Rachel Tucker and Aaron Tveit performing a stripped down version of Defying Gravity (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFbuID1QG0Y). I'm not sure it highlights what they are both capable of at all but I'm curious to see what the next few videos may be.

It was pretty meh. I mean didn't the Broadway Boys do this, what…eight years ago, to much better effect.
Also someone needs to tell that pianist to back away from the Apple products.

It was okay? I mean, talk about the most random pairing. I get it, they're trying to take the shows most "teen friendly" or most "fangirled" cast member - I mean, just take a look at the comments on this video - and pair him with the shows newest cast member, but it just doesn't need the promo. But hey, I'm excited to see where this goes! May I suggest a stripped "Thank Goodness", or even "Wonderful" duet with Annaleigh Ashford, and whoever they decide should be her "current performer" pairing?
