Just curious what shows you saw Munk. They do seem to be getting a bit better, but some were VERY sad, I must say! I think my personal favorite (not a musical, but whatever) was The Children's Hour, w/ what was quite possibly the saddest set I have EVER seen! Seriously, I think they used Saran-Wrap for the windows! YIKES! It's pretty sad when a high school in NH w/ zip for a budget and their stage in the cafeteria can blow a college production out of the water (set and talent wise, sadly). *sigh* I miss my high school theatre program.
Actress_06, I'd suggest trying to catch a show at Pace (and any other schools you're thinking of applying to) if at all possible. I'm not sure where you're coming from, but if it's at all feasible, I'd say it's totally worth it to see for yourself.
But when did New Hampshire become--Such a backward wasteland of seatbelt hating crazies?...I mean, only 40 people actually live there. The others are just visitors who come for the tax-free liquor and three inches of novelty coastline. John Hodgeman on The Daily Show (1-30-07)
