PARIS HILTON
#1PARIS HILTON
Posted: 7/9/07 at 2:51pmSo, I have seen pics of Paris with "Vocal" Books and "Acting" Books. Is she going to infiltrate? I have heard rumors of her as Amneris? Anyone? Anyone? I'm sure I'll be shotdown by you negative nancys...but I would love her in AIDA. As long as Beyonce "greatest actress of her generation" is kept 1000 yards away from this project.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:09pmI'd see Beyonce as Aida over Paris Hilton as Amneris any day, if I had to choose between the two.

I'd say stay away from Broadway to both, and send the poster to rehab.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:13pmI heard she was taking over as G(a)linda in October. Nicole was all set for Elphaba, but she had to go and get sperminated. Perez Hilton is DYING to play Boq.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:17pmI heard that Carol Channing was going to revive Talk Radio. She is sheer emotion...one of our generations finest actors. Paris is slotted to play the love interest too. This would take place after the filming of AIDA... of course.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:19pmWho has claimed Beyonce is the greatest actress of her generation?

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:19pmWHY BEYONCE? Why not Heather or Toni (Lower the Key)Braxton? Hmmm. Beyonce is such a corporate monkey - I'm sick of it. Please - no more acting. Paris - if they'll pay you - go for it.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:21pmand I heard Grey Gardens is staying open, with Paris replacing Christine Ebersole.
#10re: PARIS HILTON
Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:21pmI'm confused.
#11re: PARIS HILTON
Posted: 7/9/07 at 3:21pmI was being facetious. You're a funny one aren't you Kringas?

Paris and Nicole will keep Grey Gardens open. However...once Nicole's(distended tummy) baby comes - the show will sadly close.
"Around the World..."
p.s. - Nicole will be playing the role of Big Edie

Casting a celebrity like Paris Hilton could certainly keep Grey Gardens open. I could see her playing Phelan Beale's portrait or maybe a pile of several hundred discarded cans of cat food.

Actually Kringas IS funny...this thread is more ALONG the lines of sad.
EDITED: Thanks to original poster for his correction.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 4:21pmMaybe Paris could be cast as the American Flag that John Carries in. She is tall and thin.

Posted: 7/9/07 at 4:26pmI was frightened to see that name on the main board... and even more saddened to find it wasn't completely off topic here. My soul just died a little inside.

ray-and allthatjazz: if you're going to passively insult me...at least get the phrase right.
"This thread is more ALONG the lines of sad."
p.s. - kringas might be funny - i just read his/her "another hundred people" post. kinda good. pretentious for some reason...but good.

Fortunately incorrect phrasing can be fixed...stupidity, not so easily.
And sorry, dear, just because you can't be half as funny as Kringas it doesn't mean his humor is pretentious (just smart).

Oh, no. I can't be smart. I finished the latest novella by Evan Almighty but I couldn't make heads or tails of it.
I love new people who come in so strongly. It's great that they grasp board politics so quickly. I tend to think they're sock puppets until proven otherwise, but bully for them at any rate.

Practically imperfect in every way.
Although the kids would do well to mind her. I hear she's done time....
