I sure hope so.
Unless there's a less minute extension, I'm missing it by exactly four days.
Paul Reubens announced it on his Pee-Wee Herman page on Facebook! SO excited. I had a feeling this might happen, seeing as how they filmed the first one waaaaaay back in the 80's. I can't wait!!!
Sounds like a sure thing.

I can't wait to watch it again and I'm happy that my friends who didn't get a chance to go see it live will be able to watch it.
I cannot believe this is being preserved but ALNM with the current cast is not.
It's probably because ALNM with the current cast may be theater history, but the return of The Pee-Wee Herman Show is stage, screen and television history all in one.
Here's an interesting question... given that Pee-Wee Herman originated from a popular stage show, is he the most significant theatrical character of the past fifty years? Has any other character originating onstage become as prevalent and well-recognized in pop culture as Pee-Wee Herman in the past few decades?

Pee-wee is a god, and he can fly too!

Exactly. Not only that, but HBO filmed the first one, so it only makes sense that they'll record his return. And they specialize in stand-up type shows. Wishful Drinking, At Liberty and You're Welcome America: A Final Night With George W. Bush were all filmed and they're all stand-up. Pee-Wee is along those lines, too.
Peewee makes Elphaba look like an ostrich...cuz its a flightless bird...and peewee's final flight is so epic it grounds her rendering her flightless.

Why is there a question mark in the subject line?
Why are they filming this without an audience?
