Has anyone seen the tour that is going through California this month? I was considering buying tickets but I wanted to check it out and get some other opinions first...
I saw it several times in San Francisco this summer and the cast is extremely strong.
I had hesitated to see it again since the sit-down cast that was here for years was so incredible, but this company is 99.9% as good -- especially with Lisa Vroman back as Christine. I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to see her again.
not to mention that BRAD LITTLE is one of the best Phantoms out there. His contract runs through Dec....so I would NOT miss an opportunity to see this great cast.
My friend saw it and said the show was awsome! Go and see it!!

exactly! lisa vroman is enough to get me back again! after her turn as joanna in the sweeney todd concert and her performance as christine on hey mr producer, she's DEFINITELY worth another viewing of phantom!
I'm seeing it in October...finally. It's kind of embarrassing that I haven't seen it yet.
WOW! Brad Little is still playing The Phantom??!! He was performing that role back when I saw the tour in 2001! He was very good, but I'm amazed he hasn't tired of the role yet. They must be paying him QUITE a bit.
Not only is Brad Little the Phantom but Lisa Vroman is the starring Christine...AND Kate Wray is Meg. You really can't ask for a better combo. All are POTO Bway Alumni.

Why isn't Brad on Broadway in the role, is Hal still in love with Hugh?

Why does the name Brad Little ring a bell?
What else has he done?
OK...shamless plug. Brad has done SOOOO much over the years besides an eternel run with POTO. From JCS, to Carousel, to Evita(Barrymore Award), to J&H, etc. to countless symphonies and concerts and his pet cheetah charity!

He's a wondeful performer and great gentleman and I'd love to work with him with on a project or two. Just biding my time till he hangs up the mask.

BTW, Brad hasn't been doing the Phantom tour for years and years consecutively. He only returned to the tour earlier this summer.
Just to clarify:
I didn't say Brad was "consecutively" doing the tour for years.
I realize Ted Keegan and others have been touring.
I simply said he's been doing the role for "years", meaning off and on, he's been involved with the show for years. At least since 1998, when I first saw him...that's years ago. OK?
I never accused you of nor implied that you held these misconceptions. In fact, nothing in my post was in response to you -- it was prompted by the post by BrdwyThtr.
It should've been obvious that since my reply included essentially the same link as yours, that I was replying without knowledge of your post.
It's really NOT all about you.
I just clarified my post, no one accused anyone of anything ...fair . No worries, I don't play this game and I'm sure you don't either. Peace!
Go see the tour...the cast is great!
I'm not a big Phantom fan, but the touring cast is incredibly strong. And I'll leave it at that.

I'm seeing the show the day after Thanksgiving. Although I'm not a big ALW fan I have seen 3 different Phantoms...Michael Crawford, Robert Guillame and Davis Gaines. From what I've been reading about Brad Little and Lisa Vroman it looks like it should be a good production.
