Since people have mentioned it twice, I'll say something about the pyro. It is worse than it used to be, for reasons that the Phantom company cannot control: first, the type of materials originally used in the Phantom's firestick are no longer manufactured, and they had to switch to something else. Originally the replacement ones made a popping noise that was really lame, and so some experimentation has been going on and it's a bit better than it was at first. This probably happened 1-2 years ago. Then, last spring the fire laws changed, and as I understand the situation, you can no longer use fuse-triggered pyro, meaning they had to redesign all the other effects in the show using techniques that result in a less impressive effect.
It sucks for those who know what it's supposed to look/feel like, but it's not from anyone's lack of caring about the upkeep of the show.
Well, all I can say for George, is that on our first encounter here, he was EXTREMELY helpful to me, so I think that some of you are judging him a bit hard ! He seems like a great guy to me and even if he sounds aggressive, well WHO HASN'T been a bit aggressive in here, at one time or another ???
Wow all that pyro history is pretty interesting. I'm surprised to hear that there have been changes to the pyro stuff----It really looks the same to me, but maybe that's because I see it so frequently that I didnt notice.
I agree about Howard McGillin staying in the role forever!!!
"Wait, wait! I have a question! What is the point in having a door that has a horrible death behind it? Huh? What does that acheive?!"
