Great performance. Did anyone else catch this?
The off-Broadway show Aga-Boom also performed.
I still have 30 minutes left of GMA to watch, so I haven't caught it yet.
Nothing like Patrick Wilson in the morning.. hehehe.

Wow, Emmy sounded a lot better than she does in the actual movie. (Which made me think that a lot of the weak, breathy high notes were because of direction to back off the vibrato to create a more pop sound.) Patrick was amazing as always.

Agreed. Someone over at PFN was like.. "Dare I say it? I thought she sounded like a stage Christine."
Another thing, I couldn't tell if Patrick was singing in character or not, but I could totally tell when Emmy went in character as Christine and I thought it was fantastic.
I loved it! I'm watching it again right now. (I taped it
)
If anybody can get it on to the computer, I'd greatly appreciate it, even if its just audio.
Damn it. I totally forgot.
loved it. Patrick looked amazing. I mean, they both were incredible, but Patrick especially so...

Charlie said this the first time Emmy had performed this song live for tv and she looked a wee bit nervous (who wouldn't be?)
Aaah...but she was blessed with Patrick Wilson as her partner and he kept looking at her with such sweetness and encouragement. When he kissed her on the cheek at the end it was the perfect touch.
Patrick sounded just golden...I love his voice... We need to hear it more often.
Emcee...your comments about Patrick+white horse+white shirt=happy Emcee just cracked me up!

I thought they both did a really, really great job. Emmy's voice sounded so much fuller and rounder live, though she rivaled Ideden Espenezel in the gaspy breath category. They both looked stunning, also.
