PQ 4/25 Matinee

I attended the matinee of Pirate Queen, and I was disappointed in the show. Aside from Hadley Fraser's voice, there isn't much to recommend. Stephanie Block has a lovely voice, but there was nothing about her or her performance that would inspire a bunch of 16th century Irishmen to follow her. I hated the way Queen Elizabeth was portrayed. So much effort was so obviously put into this by a lot of talented folks, but there's so little to show for it.
