The cast did I WILL SURVIVE during the first hour and it looked fun. For anyone concerned about the producers hiding the fact that this was a drag show- FEAR NO LONGER-the can of worms is now open. With those outlandish costumes, exaggerated make-up, and the highest of heels, Priscilla has arrived !
Swenson, Sheldon and Adams sang WE BELONG in the second segment. Perhaps not the best choice to sell the show, but they looked like they were having fun.
This is certainly one show that needs to be seen on stage where it plays much better, and not tv.
Saw the performance on The Today Show. It was awesome! Seeing two shows this weekend. Can't wait!
By all means, GO! I saw it last weekend and was surprised at how moving it was. I loved the spectacle and the riotous laughs provoked not just by the jokes but by the characterizations and costumes as well. It was the most fun I've had at a show in a long time. It actually removed the bile that was Spiderman out of my system. My faith has been restored in musical COMEDY.... THANK YOU PRISCILLA!

So excited!! About 28 hours until I see it.
I keep thinking that still from the "Today" appearance on the Stage Tube link to the right is Martha Raye in "The Bugaloos."

Seeing PRISCILLA Saturday night, and can hardly wait.
I've seen quite a few shows in previews over the years, but the last time I saw a "final" preview performance was thirty years ago, the night before WOMAN OF THE YEAR with Lauren Bacall opened at the Palace Theatre.
I need to get back to this show very soon. I really loved it and had a blast.
It seems there will be a few of us from these parts at The Palace on Saturday night. It will be my second time returning to this production. I can't wait to dance in my seat again!!!

I was also at that Woman of the Year performance! What a fun show and Bacall was stunning in the opening number gold gown she wore. As much fun as Woman of the Year was.....I was completely blown away by the joyfullness and fun at Priscilla Queen of the Desert.
I'm going to try to go to opening night on Sun. Looking forward to it!!!
I'll be there Saturday night. I'm already bugalooing.
