Cast albums are NOT "soundtracks."
Live theatre does not use a "soundtrack." If it did, it wouldn't be live theatre!
I host a weekly one-hour radio program featuring cast album selections as well as songs by cabaret, jazz and theatre artists. The program, FRONT ROW CENTRE is heard Sundays 9 to 10 am and also Saturdays from 8 to 9 am (eastern times) on www.proudfm.com

Love love LOVE the bonus track! Just as I was reading the liner notes and thinking, "Ok, Bruce -- where's the UK studio recording and the Italian release?" there's the bonus track. You're spoiling all of us Promises Fanboys!

Actually, bk, Donna is most assuredly there. If there is one voice I know, it's Donna's, and it's audible on "Turkey Lurkey Time" and "Fact Can Be a Beautiful Thing."
I'd be willing to lay money on it being her.
ETA: It's also on her website under "Recordings." So I'd say if she's saying she's on it, she is.

Posted: 8/17/10 at 11:57pmI don't think so - but if she thinks so and you think so, then maybe you're right and I'm wrong. But the dates don't match up, I'm afraid, and I have listened closely and cannot hear her distinctive tones, as I certainly can on the OBC (although not on Turkey Lurkey, where it's mostly the pit gals).
