There was a strange story surrounding Jenny O'Hara replacing her sister and it had something to do with their dragon lady stage mother Edith (the producer of BOY MEETS BOY). I don't think Jill left the show willingly...
Melissa Hart starred in the first national company of PROMISES after touring as Sally Bowles in the Hal Prince CABARET and starring in the short-lived GEORGY on Broadway. I know she turned up on one of Bruce Kimmel's albums recently. Does anyone know what she's been up to in the meantime?

wildcat, you've piqued my interest, can you elaborate on the jill/jenny/dragon lady mom situation? what makes you say jill didn't leave the show willingly?
speaking of jill, i read somewhere that when "promises" was in previews jill's name was below the title. before it opened merrick raised it above the title so that jill could be considered for a best actress tony nom (which she was). many feel shirley jones should have gotten the tony nom for a musical called "maggie flynn" and not jill for "promises".
