Okay, now that I've decided on An American in Paris, seats are minimal for the day I'm attending.
If you sit toward the back of the orchestra section, under the mezzanine, does this obstruct anything this particular show has to offer? Never been to the Palace. Thanks!

Theater visual
Don't sit any further back than row Q in the orchestra
I prefer sitting Front mezzanine to row G is the best view as the balcony overhangs the rear mezz

Thanks again, Robbie! My cousin who lives in NYC might be joining me, so I'll have to get her confirmation quick.

Unfortunately the best they have available in the mezzanine is about 4 rows back, slightly off to the side, FrontRowCenter. In the orchestra, they have some seats off to the side, and then there are some seats remaining toward the back of the orchestra... starting at about row V unfortunately, Robbie. It looks like a colossal theater. Is row V too far back?

I would go with the front mezzanine seating far better view from above then being in the rear of the orchestra row V is far back with the mezzanine overhang with limited views.

Quick seating question.
I am looking into seats for AAIP in a few weeks (early-mid June, right after the Tonys) and my price range allows for seats in the front few rows of where the "rear mezz" starts. Can anyone tell me if I should go for mezzanine row J (two rows behind G, where the balcony overhang starts) on house right-ish… or if mezzanine row K-L (third and fourth row behind row G) more center would be better for this particular show.
All the thanks in the world in advance!

I would go more center than on the side seating or front row balcony!

How is the rear mezzanine? Does the overhand obstruct the view at all? I have only sat in the balcony at the Palace.

I'm using Tix4Students to get tickets to the show for next week, and the only choices are rear mezzanine or front balcony. The closest mezzanine seat is Center Row M, and the closest balcony seat is Right Row A. Which would be the best option?

Hi all - quick seating question once again.
I am looking to revisit AAIP over the holidays and I am looking at some side Orchestra seats that are within the current discount code offer. How are the raised side-orchestra seats at the Palace in general/for this particular show? Specifically, I am looking at orchestra row H-N, seats 1-5 or 2-6... so technically not too far back or too far to the side at all... just not center, technically. Any information you may be able to give me about these raised seats in the orchestra would be great! I am taking two friends who have never seen the show before and I am hoping this will provide a good view of the show on a budget. Thanks for any help you can give!

I've sat there. It's a great view. I'd go for the ones that are a little further back.

HEY EVERYONE! I'm about to buy tickets for AAIP and I was wondering if I should go for Row K house right-ish in the mezz or Row N in the center of the rear mezz? Will I miss anything because of the overhang from the balcony?

It looks like there are a lot of open questions on here regarding seating! I don't have a big budget, so I'm debating using the discount codes which puts me in the rear mezz, or i could do first row of the balcony.
Or would I have a chance at better seats using Today Tix? It says there is a concierge that delivers the tickets? I've never used it before! Thanks!
