Great cast and it has been 10 years since the Ivo revival that was such a strong production (and available on NT at Home for those who might be interested).

This is the first ticket I've actually purchased for the fall. Everything else I'm waiting on buzz for, this one could have these three reading the phonebook between scenes and I'd still be seated. Brilliant casting.

I first saw her about eighteen years ago in Blasted. Maybe the most disturbing play I've ever seen. I've never forgotten her performance and I've been a huge fan ever since.
I snatched up a $59 so fast I didn't realize it was up in the balcony. Hope it's not a bad view from up there - those seats look mostly sold out already.

I just read the full synopsis on Wikipedia of Blasted and then read about the author. Woah, is all I know to say.

IF that's the current set-up, then it looks like EVERY seat is lousy! Not only uncomfortable folding metal chairs, but the first row is practically a football field away from the upstage playing area?

The sight lines are excellent, the large space in the front was historically used for ensemble movement based theatre. Folding metal chairs are folding metal chairs. What’s odd to me is what sounds like a production that might belong at The Roundabout or at Second Stage in this traditionally avant-garde space.

Feelings:
Sam Rockwell is too light for the role.
No matter how good Marin Ireland is, the role is tiny.
Alfred Molina is about the most ideally cast.
Who is playing Rodolfo and his brother?
