Allow me to rephrase... while this was a very clever way of writing a negative 'review' (Yes, I did get the reference) I think saying that the show is "piss and ink" IS unfair. Also, I of course, don't know the extent of your dislike for this production, but you have to admit there are far worse things currently on Broadway.
"...you seem to have a talent for inciting hostility!
And for spelling "pardon" with an "m" in your post title."
I can't edit out the hostility but I have edited the "pardom". :)

jeez, didn't think you'd be so touchy about your metaphors. Sorry, next time i'll leave it alone. but it was still a bad choice.
You don't need to explain things to me like i'm stupid. i was perfectly aware that it wasn't mean to be taken literally.
Just out of curiousity, hwat did you think of Passion, morosco? did you see the origninal production?

I have great personal investment in the understanding and acceptance of metaphors. My mother was a metaphor.
Morosco - You're a big ball of wit. :) I hate to break it to you, though: the typo is only corrected on the first page.

Indeed I did. The original production. The first night I saw it I had mixed feelings about the show. But something about the story and the music haunted me to go again. The second time I saw it I left the theatre in tears. I was deeply moved.

that's wonderful to hear, because i felt the same way when I watched it on dvd. Everytime I watch it i'm moved to tears. I was 5 when it was out on broadway so there was no way I could have known about it or appreciated it.
