Parody Musicals

Parody musicals seem to be everywhere right now! SILENCE was great and I'm excited for REDRUM. But then I see that Scream and Cruel Intention etc etc are popping up in LA and then I just saw some stuff about an ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK parody musical! I'm a huge fan of the tv show so I'm skeptical. They have a song up which I actually really liked, but it's morello and she's my favorite character. Has anyone else heard about this show? Or thoughts on parody musicals in general?

SCREAM! has been around for a little, while, no?

I think parody musicals are fun but within reason. I think StarKid Potter had a fun novelty running, but there new musicals are not as exciting to me.

If I were more of a Twilight fan, I might be quicker to check it out. That's kinda why I'm geeking out about Orange.
